When you submit a consultation or contact request, we collect the information you provide such as your name, email address, organization, and message.

We also collect technical data associated with the request, including the IP address used to submit the form, the date and time of submission, and browser or device signals that help us operate and secure the site.

To better understand and respond to enquiries, we may use the IP address to derive approximate location details such as city, region, country, timezone, ASN, and network organization through a third-party geolocation service.

Legal basis and purpose

Under Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019, personal data should generally be collected and processed with prior consent unless a lawful exception applies. For website enquiries, we process the information you submit because you are requesting us to take steps at your request before entering into a potential contract, and because we have legitimate business and security needs to respond to your enquiry and protect our services.

We use the information for these purposes:

Sharing and service providers

We may share the information you submit with internal staff who manage consultations and with service providers that support hosting, email delivery, database storage, and IP geolocation enrichment. We do not sell your consultation data.

Where a service provider processes information on our behalf, we expect them to handle it securely and only for the purposes we specify.

Retention and security

We retain enquiry records for as long as needed for legitimate business, support, and security purposes. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we store.

If you do not want us to process your enquiry information, please do not submit the contact form. You can also contact us directly to ask about the information we hold about your submission, to request correction of inaccurate data, or to discuss your privacy rights under applicable Ugandan law.
